Surviving The Apocalypse

I know the news that’s in the paper
But I saw the writing on the wall
And I know if I don’t be careful
I may be heading for a fall
So I’ve been stocking up on rations
And I locked myself up in the house
Now I’ve got nothing to be scared of
I just feel sorry for the cows

I know that I’ll be surviving the apocalypse
And if you’d be acting acting nicer, I could give some tips
But since you’re pretending that I’m the fool
I’ll play it cool
Good luck at school, you fool

I got the heads up from my uncle
Whom everyone considers mad
But I’ve always seen him as a wise man
And I believe the things he said
Now there’s a glass wall around my garden
Transparent but three inches thick
So I can see whatever’s coming
But it can’t get to me that quick

I’ll bet you that I’ll be surviving the apocalypse
And if you’d be acting acting nicer, I could give some tips
But since you’re pretending that I’m the fool
I’ll play it cool
Good luck at school, you fool

In the off-chance that I’m sleeping
When the invasion reaches me
I can relax, ‘cause I’m protected
Here in my fortress of the free
To all the people who are chuckling
Know that I’ll be laughing last
I’ve taken measures for the future
When all of you are in the past

‘Cause I know that I’ll be surviving the apocalypse
And if you’d be acting acting nicer, I could give some tips
But since you’re pretending that I’m the fool
I’ll play it cool
Good luck at school, you fool
